Who Are We?

Wheres the bio photo? Well… after 3 years here it is! I should have it up on the site next week. Let us know what you think! Doesnt it just scream Erica and Tiffany?

Brittany and Jaymes

Last Sunday we ended our 2007 wedding season on a great note. Brittany and Jaymes were married at Pacific Union College. They opted to take all of their portraits beforehand… so we trekked out in very chilly December weather. In the middle of bridal party pictures one of the groomsman busted out with some interesting dance moves. You’ll see the whole series in the slide show.

After Jaymes and Brittany’s big getaway we all drove down to Yountville where they were celebrating the festival of lights. From the start they had their heart set on taking romantic photos with the Christmas lights in the background. Well as luck would have it as soon as we jumped in the car it started pouring!!! All the way down the hill and into Rutherford. Erica and I crossed our fingers and hoped they would be up for some rain photos. When we finally arrived in Yountville it let up and they both said a little rain was not going to stop them! I love couples that are daring!

In the end we were soaked, but we had a blast!

And we found a new use for the preview screen on the back of our cameras:

Christmas Socks

Aren’t they cool? No, I will not wear them to a wedding… or out in any public situation for that matter! They are for snowboarding. I’m giving it a shot next week! Wish me luck…!

Lets Say Thanks!

I just found a great website, hosted via the company Xerox, where you can send a thank you postcard to troops overseas. Its takes a whopping five minutes… thats it!

Lets take a minute to say thanks. They’re fighting for us.

Winter in Mammoth Lakes

This weekend I had a few days off so I weathered the storm and made a trip to Mammoth! You wouldn’t believe it but I have never really experienced snow before! Never driven through it or even played in it.

So Saturday Matt and I took a drive on the Mammoth Loop and I got knee deep in snow! All of the photos I took didn’t really do justice. From the road it was a beautiful landscape, but up close it blended together.

Anyways, here are a few I liked, including Diego. Hes not too fond of the snow if you cant tell!

Virgin America

When I went to DC a few weeks back we flew Virgin America. I was so excited about it I started blogging about it on the plane! I know, I know! Well I never actually posted it, so here it is:

All I can say is wow!! We are sitting on the plane right now to head to DC for a week. I was really excited to see what all the hype was about. When we entered SFO we had some trouble finding the check in area. When we did we were greeted with red carpet, white orchids, flat panel touchscreen macs and a very nice customer service agent. We were checked in in no time at all and headed to our gate.

When we boarded the airplane we were greeted with this down tempo club music. The plane was up lit a neon purple and all the seats were leather… not just first class. Every seat back had a touchscreen panel and a remote control with access to video games, movies, satellitle tv and the ability to order food from where we sat.

It was all great until we were delayed an hour and a half and our touch screens stopped working. I will say, they comped our meals for the delay, which I dont think United has ever offered on any delayed flight I’ve been on!

All in all, the hype wore off because the touch screens were broken. The flight back home was great… everything worked!

Happy Anniversary Esther and Robert!
