Erica and I are very excited to be offering a new product to our 2008 lineup: The Thank You Book. A 30 page 6×6 magazine style book with matte pages. This little guy is 15 spreads taken from your coffee table or magazine style album. If you opt for the fine art or traditional mat album the book will contain 30 photos laid out similar to our favorites book.

From now until January 31st we will be offering one of these albums as a thank you for booking a wedding. You must mention this blog at the time of booking and we will add it to your contract!

Want to see something even cuter? The 4×4 Bridesmaid Book! Two inches smaller and 30 pages, this album is the perfect present to say thank you to the girls that helped you with your wedding.

The 6×6 Thank You Book is priced at $300 for 30 pages and the 4×4 Bridesmaid book is priced at $100 for 30 pages. The Bridesmaid book is only available with a Thank You Book purchase.

Look how cute the Bridesmaid Book is!

Denise and Daniel’s Engagement Session

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Denise and Daniel in San Francisco for their engagement photos. They both traveled from Boston and spent the weekend settling the last few details of their wedding that they are having at Auberge in September.

Daniel was such a trooper. Not only did he have to leave in the middle of the playoff game, but it was also his birthday! We explored downtown San Francisco before heading towards the Palace of Fine Arts. It was soooooo icy and windy that we took cover behind cars!! The photos came out great though, one of my favs is in the broken phone booth.

Oh, and a great little tip: Denise scheduled her makeup test the day of the session. Not that she didnt look fabulous already, but she got a chance to see how her makeup would photograph!

See you in September!

Derrick and Sierra

Last weeks wedding was a special one… a quite a trip down memory lane for me. Derrick and I went to high school together…. we were in yearbook together, sounds nerdy but yearbook was cool I swear!

Derrick and Sierra’s “How we met” story is a unique one: they met building a church together in Mexico! They came back to the states and the rest is history!

Sierra put a lot of thought and special touches into the day. My favorite one, and possibly the most unique favor I’ve seen this year was a caricature artist. There’s a sample at the bottom!

I think this is my favorite garter photo:

THE most enthusiastic garter catcher EVER!
