Jewlie and Simon’s wedding at The Carneros Inn
October 14, 2008 – 7:51 am
Fun Fact: Jewlie and Simon have the same job…. just for different companies.
Most Memorable Moments: Simon’s perma-grin the whole day… and his reaction to seeing Jewlie during their first sight. And even better, Jewlie’s nervousness seeing him the first time.
I checked the weather like investors checked stocks this week! All I was wishing for was no rain! I even went so far as to buy hot pink rain boots and a cool umbrella just in case. Well the pink rain boots stayed in the car all day cause the sun came out! I dont know who was happier, Jewlie, Simon or I!
Me and Marita were talking about how amazing the day came out and we both came to the same conclusion: if we were to get married we wouldn’t have changed a thing from Jewlie and Simon wedding to our own. From the site, the flowers, the color palette, invites, caricature artist and the over the top cool sign in board (see below) And lets talk about the dress, Jewlie it was totally you and it was perfect!
Jewlie and Simon you rock! Have fun in Hawaii!
On a total side note: I have one FABULOUS TIP from Simon and Jewlie to you: when planning your honeymoon spring for the travel insurance. Their honeymoon weather forecast called for rain the whole week. Well that nifty travel insurance booked them another trip to Hawaii!

Wedding Site: The Carneros Inn
Coordination: Boutique Event Design
Flowers by Julie Stevens
Caricatures by Jon Casey. Officially the coolest idea for a sign in board ever, Jewlie and Simon had commisioned an artist to make a movie poster idea. The board fits Jewlie and Simon, and the feel of the Carneros Inn to a T.
Michele and Marc’s wedding at Casa Real in Pleasanton
October 11, 2008 – 8:49 am
Fun Fact: Michele and Marc have been together for 12 years!
Most Memorable Moment: The awe inspiring moment when Michele walked down the candle lit aisle. The ceremony location was gorgeous!!
Casa Real at Ruby Hill in Pleasanton was the perfect setting for Michele and Marc to say I do! The ceremony was actually indoors, and lit beautifully with candles for Michele to walk down the aisle to Marc. After the ceremony the party got started with a special 70’s flair… some of Marc and Micheles favorite music. Im a bit late in posting this so on with the photos!

One of Michele’s best friends works and Disney World, so it was only fitting that there were some Mickey Mouse ears on hand!
I love the tangle of hands…
Shashi and Rob’s wedding at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn
October 10, 2008 – 2:13 pm
Fun Fact: Rob and Shashi are having two destination weddings! One in Sonoma and one in India!
Most Memorable Moments: Robs side turn during the ceremony and of course the dancing! I have 125 dancing photos to prove it!
You might remember Rob and Shashi from their engagement session in New York back in May. Well they made the trek over from NYC with 70 of their closest friends and family to get married at the Fairmont in Sonoma. Since they planned their wedding from afar the couple entrusted Jenne Hohn to take care of all the details for them.
Rob was so cute as the ceremony began. At the Fairmont the processional wraps around the side of the ceremony and then the bridal party turns to go down the aisle. Well as everyone walked down the side of the aisle Rob watched, but as soon as Shashi was supposed to walk past Rob completely turned his head to the side so that he wouldnt sneak a peek! His face lit up with excitement when he finally saw her walk down the aisle. It was too sweet!
After the ceremony the party got started. I have never seen a crowd dance so much… even before dinner really was served! DJ Matt Riley had their friends and family dancing well into the night. And the party doesnt stop there! On Thursday Shashi and Rob were off to India for another wedding! Have a great time you two!

Kari and Rons elopement at Milliken Creek Inn
October 5, 2008 – 6:33 pm
I met Ron and Kari at the Milliken Creek Inn in Napa last weekend. Who knew this little gem in Napa existed… you drive past it in two seconds off of Silverado Trail! It was the perfect spot for photos before their wedding: beautiful lush gardens and a view of the Napa river from their room.
Ron and Kari were too cute for words, they absolutely adore one another, as I think you’ll see in the photos:

Hans Fahden Wedding Photographer | Shani and Jason
October 3, 2008 – 12:16 am
Most Memorable Moments: The “pelting” of rose petals as Shani and Jason excited the ceremony, the hilarious dance by the bridesmaids and of course the “once you go Scot you never go back!” comment.
After months of planning their wedding with the talented Sasha Souza Jason and Shani’s wedding day was FINALLY here! And what a more beautiful place to get married than at Hans Fahden in the hills above Calistoga. Walking down the aisle Shani looked phenomenal… you should have seen Jason’s grin!
The reception was full of excitement, one of which I cant go into toooo much detail about, but lets say it involved the bridesmaids, Shani, Jason and five hot pink feather boas! The night ended with a getaway in Jason’s dads classic red convertible.

Again, her bridesmaids were too much fun!
I love working with Elaine Bell Catering! I can vouch that this was delish!
And no cake cutting would be complete without the family sword!
And thank you Byron and Esteban from Thomas Hughes for letting me snag some of that video light!
