Doreen and Steve’s wedding at Buena Vista Winery

Fun Fact: When Steve wanted to make their relationship “official” he surrendered his heart to her… in a very unique way: Steve (a chef) made a “mountain” of cream puffs. At the very top of that mountain was a white flag…. surrendering his heart to Doreen. This mountain of cream puffs was delivered to Doreen’s work. Tooo cute and romantic!!

Most Memorable Moment: The whole night… it was just a good vibe all around. 40 of Steve and Doreen’s closest friends and family were there to support them in the beginning of their new life together.

When I first met Doreen back in April I knew her wedding to Steve was going to be memorable… the way she spoke of Steve and their time together, as well as how she wanted her wedding to be “just a big dinner party with the ones we love”

Well what you don’t know is Doreen and Steve are both in “the industry” so letting go was a key factor in having fun for the day. All of their vendors pulled together wonderfully for a last minute rain “change of plans.” The ceremony took place upstairs above the tasting room in a glowing alter lit with lanterns. After sipping signature cocktails guests went downstairs to Doreen’s very own designed tables… not ones she had designed for clients… yet something designed for her and Steve. And the rest of the night was a fabulous dinner party… in a wedding dress!

Steve and Doreen: Thanks for bearing the colds of winter with me to take some photos outside! brr! I hope you had a great time in the Caribbean and were able to relax a bit before jumping back into work! I wish you two all the best in the world. You are two people I couldn’t be happier for!

Not just any old pair of Manolo’s… but a feathered pair!

Happy Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa!

Do you ever wonder where the name Adeline & Grace came from? Well its our grandmas names. And my grandma Adeline is celebrating her 65th wedding anniversary with my grandpa Marv today.

During this time my grandma worked for Eastman Kodak, so one of her photographer friends took the following shot on December 22nd 1943:

Gee, do I look like my grandma or what?!! And my grandpa’s eyes…!

Wedding Albums

‘Tis the season for many couples to receive their wedding albums. This week was no exception! Despite the dreaded move and lack of internet access all week these emails put a HUGE smile on my face when they came through my iphone. There are also a few of my favorite spreads from their albums too:

Subject Line: AMAZING!

Hi Tiffany and Erica!

All the best, Kelly

Subject Line: I got my album…

I’m still in love with Denise’s fan programs:

Subject Line: PHOTO ALBUM

Hi Tiffany!!
Just wanted to say that we received the album and it is gorgeous!!!
Everyone in my office just flipped over it…and of course my family too! We just can’t thank you enough for all you did! Best Always, Lisa & Scott

Thanks you guys for putting a huge grin on my face and reminding me moving isnt soooo bad! On another note, Im back up and running via the internet and replying to remaining emails and order requests asap.

Ah, moving in the rain… ain’t it great?!

So my email response this week will not be so hot… I apologize. Im in the middle of a move (yes I know what you’re thinking…. moving during the holidays….are you crazy??!) Despite all my efforts of scheduling comcast to install everything today we were met with a huge disappointment. The person residing in our place before us cut the wires!!!??? UM WHY? I wish I knew. Unfortunately  there’s no easy/quick fix and we’re waiting to hear when this will all be resolved.

To add to the wonderfulness of moving in the rain the power went out as I was setting up my office. Were actually at our OLD place tonight so I can get auto-responders and everything set up for an “extended absence” So, fellow clients and blog readers I will be replying to any emails I recieve from my iphone via phone.
