The past few days I was out in NYC for Ryan and Alicia’s Engagement session. They wanted their engagement photos to reflect where they live and the parts of the city that they enjoy especially since they are getting married out in CA. So we started their session right near their house by a cute little pub called Pete’s Tavern, which has been open since 1864. We then took the subway up to Grand Central and Central Park. When we got back we decided to include Roxy in the last few photos. She was completely oblivious to the camera! It was too funny!
Ryan and Alicia: thanks for trekking through the whole day in 30 degree weather… in heels… and a dress! You were awesome and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!

As we were setting up this shot I said ” ok, so the first time the train passes is going to be a trial run because I need to get the exposure and blur just right. Round 2 will be the real photos” We nailed it on the first round!

“What? Were taking photos? Mom and Dad are kissing? I thought we were just on a walk to chase squirrels?!” Love ya Roxy!
Last Sunday I met up with Angela and Jason for their engagement session in Walnut Creek. We managed to hit Broadway Plaza and Heather Farms Park before the rains hit later that afternoon. Whew!
So Jason and Angela get an A+ for their wardrobe selection. Timeless, classy, chic and so color coordinated but not to “matchy-matchy” as Erica would say. The second half of their session they decided to go more casual… yet they still looked great!
I can not wait to see Angela in her dress in May. Its perfect. (aka something I would totally pick out in a dress shop in heartbeat!!!) I wish I could tell you more but you’ll just have to check back at the end of May to see. : )

Nope, not for fun. For work! There is a HUGE photography convention called WPPI taking place in Vegas next week. Tons of great speakers and a trade show that’s the size of Costco but for photographers. Its truly overwhelming! It turns out some of our good friends from the east coast are out there for a wedding so Matt and I decided to make a last-minute-two-week-late-anniversary/business/social trip out of it!
Im excited to see all the new albums on the market and to see if any of them work for Adeline & Grace. So Ii will be out of town Sun-Tues and returning all emails on Wednesday! Give me a call if you need to chat though! All the best, Tiffany
