It was a cold but exciting day in Newport when I met up with Laura and Clark for their engagement shoot. We started out in downtown Newport so I could ease them both into the idea that they would have to have their picture taken in public. Laura was excited and Clark was a great sport, as most Grooms are. Even though it was cold, they warmed up to the camera fast. After down town we headed to a couple special places I like around Newport. It finally got too cold to continue, their noses were turning red, so we had to call it a day.
They are getting married June 20 on Elihu Island. You might remember this spot from Dierdre and Jason’s wedding. I am just as excited as they are for their wedding day, I can’t wait to find new and creative places to photograph the two of them on the island.
