Auberge du Soleil Wedding Photography | Teresa and Vince

This day was a little different than most days… we started the day off with a first sight! We started right into photos of Teresa and Vince so that they could enjoy the rest of their wedding day. I cant tell you how often I hear from my couples that they were happy they finished all of their photos before the ceremony. More time to visit with out of town guests and let yourself enjoy the evening. Teresa and Vince took it a  step further and completed all of the family photos beforehand too! We visited a few sites around Napa Valley before returning to Auberge du Soleil where their ceremony and reception took place. The rest of the day was fun and relaxed with 5 star food and a little bit of dancing with the stars action! (see last photo)

Vince and Teresa: you two are such beautiful people inside and out… I’m so glad you two met by chance, it was truly meant to be. Hope the reception in Italy was fabulous and you brought a few new recipes back to share ;)

Gillian & Nate

I can’t wait for Gillian and Nate’s Wedding.
They both can work the camera which I am very excited about. I also recently received an inspiration board for Gillian and Nate’s wedding from their event designer Sarah True and I just fell in love with the whole look of their up coming wedding. You won’t have to wait too long to see Nate and Gillian’s wedding because it is just a month away.
I had a great time with this shoot and I can’t wait to see Gillian in her wedding dress.

Melissa and Dalton

Engagement in Newport

We had a blast! Downtown Newport was where all the fun began. I know it can be awkward to jump into pictures in front of strangers, but these two rolled with it and had great time. We just took a casual walk though Newport stopping at certain nooks to take pictures and talk about the wedding. It was a carefree afternoon of wedding talk. I love those days. Melissa and Dalton are getting married this November at Belle Mer, I can’t wait to see Melissa and her wedding dress!

San Francisco Baby Photography | Baby Owen

Harvest Inn Wedding Photography | Mallory and Chris

Mallory and Chris’ wedding had this excitement about it. As soon as we arrived to start the prep photos and well into the night the energy was just there. Especially at the end of the night! You know the dance floor is crazy when grandma comes out and dances with a groomsmen…. and of course dad busts out the sprinkler. LOVE IT!

I had a great time you two, I hope the move to Denver went well and you are settling in ok.

Carneros Inn Napa Wedding Photographer | Nina & Davis

What could be better than two wedding dresses, two pairs of fabulous Manolos and two weddings? That Nina and Davis are married! Their friends and family couldnt be happier for them either! I loved hearing her friend Darcy’s rendition of how they first met… it was a completely different spin that what I first mentioned on their engagement session post.

Nina and Davis were both in New Orleans and happened to see each other from across the room at a restaurant. Davis, being the guy that he is sent a glass of champagne to Nina. Darcy, the friend that was with her at the resturtant was completely excited looking around the room to check out the guy that mysteriously sent over a glass of champagne to her best friend. Nina was calm, cool and collected throughout the whole thing and agreed to meet up with Davis later. But see, that’s just Nina. Calm, cool and collected. Smart and sexy, she never breaks a sweat or panics when things dont go according to plan. But all of her planning for the wedding day fell into place and it was perfect!

A special thanks goes out to Andy, Randy, Jay and Will for all of your help with the family portraits. You guys rock!

Rachel & Eric’s Newport Wedding

Fun Fact: Both Erica and Rachel had the same last name before they were married.

I had been waiting for this wedding. Eric and Rachel were so much fun at the engagement session, I knew the wedding photos were going to be a blast. Eric and Rachel got married a local church in their home town and then we headed down to Belcourt Castle in Newport for pictures. Rachel was glowing she was so excited. Eric wasn’t into all the picture taking, like most guys, but I know he had just as much fun. Their reception was held at the Atlantic Beach Club. And boy did they turn the ABC into their own. Rachel had chosen a hot pink, which I loved. It was hot!! She had fabric draped from the ceiling and everything was blinged out.

The party really got into full swing after dinner. The DJ just played all the right songs to get the crowd moving. I love the dancing!

Jenna and I had a great day. Thanks guys!!

Meredith & Andras

I was excited to finally meet Meredith and Andras. We met up in down town Providence and took a walk. the two wanted a Beacon Hill look. and in Providence the closest thing to Beacon Hill is Benefit Street. We ventured off heading a little more into the city. The sun was shining and the light was great. Meredith and Andras are not getting married until next June, so you will all have to wait a bit to see their wedding. They will be getting married in New Haven and having their reception at the New Haven Lawn Club. I can’t wait!

2009 Holiday Deadlines – West Coast

I know what your thinking, the holidays are months away! But a little bit of pre-planning will go a long way if you did indeed want your wedding album to show to your friends and family by Christmas.  Below are the following deadlines to ensure you have your album by the 24th of December:

Final Revisions for albums: October 18 2009
Bridal albums (Coffee Table, Traditional Mat and Fine Art): November 1 2009
Parent Albums (All 8×8 8×10 size parent albums) : November 16 2009
Canvas: December 7 2009 for ground shipping
Prints: December 7 2009 for ground shipping
Dvd slideshows: November 16 2009

You do have the option to rush certain items if they are ordered after the above deadlines. Depending on the item and the company rush fees vary. Please contact me if you have any questions.

*****FOR ALBUMS***** Please remember to get your revisions to me in a timely manner. During the busy season it may take me up to two weeks to return revisions to you. Album revisions are completed in the order received, so even if you have only a few small changes it might take me two weeks to return them given my current workload at the time. For your album to be ordered by November 1 2009 I need your signed order form + 1st payment. Without these two items I can not guarantee your album to arrive on time. Thank you for understanding.

INTIMATE CLIENTS! The last day to schedule a full session with a book is November 1st. The whole process takes 6-8 weeks to do post, edit and order a an album. Anything scheduled before November 1st will have a guaranteed holiday delivery if your album is finalized by November 16th!
