Warning… photo heavy post!
This is probably one of my favorite photos of the week. It blends Indian culture with Western culture:

Because of the length of the day they opted to do 90% of their photos before the ceremony. Heres their first sight. I HEART his reaction! ooooo!

If you’ve never been to the Scottish Rite Center in Oakland its pretty cool. They have this very funky retro dressing room downstairs, which we couldnt pass up!

After photos it was time for the Baraat! These photos were all taken by Marita since I was with the girls. The Baraat is a marriage procession for the groom. There was singing, dancing, drums and the brides parents waiting to welcome him into the family at the entrance to the Scottish Rite Center.

And then there was the ceremony:

I can not begin to tell you the excitement and cheers that filled the room at this moment!

After the ceremony it was time for outfit number two and some more photos:

There was so many great parts to the day… and heres one of the outtakes. We had a 6 page time line to keep us on track… down to the minute! We actually finished family portraits early and realized we were ahead of schedule at this point. We checked the schedule just to make sure this was indeed true!

Purvi from Avant Planners and Shadi Shaandar helped with all of the details of the day:

All in all I have to say it was a visually stunning week! Thank you for letting me be a part of it!
