Maternity Leave and My Underwater Maternity Session!

Yep, its that time! My maternity leave officially started August 16th. I’ll be checking/replying to emails 1-2 times a week. I will resume to somewhat normal (what is that with a baby I dont know?!;)) activities mid October. For those of you ordering prints all print orders will be fulfilled weekly on Tuesday mornings. So if you order prints Tuesday afternoon please expect them to be fulfilled the following Tuesday morning.

In June we went to Portland to take underwater maternity portraits! I had been wanting to do these since I saw some photos Erica had taken of Ella back in February. They were insanely cool to say the least and I knew thats exactly what I wanted to do for my maternity session. Who else to take them then Elizabeth Baumgartner of Sunfish Studios? Her website is in the works right now but if you are interested in learning more about her underwater portrait sessions just leave a comment below and I’ll send you her contact info.

This is at 29 weeks:

Here I am at my last wedding pre baby on August 15th, 36 weeks. Thanks to Brooke at The Carneros Inn for taking this for me. I look a little balloon like huh?;)And if we finish up the nursery before lil man arrives I’ll make sure to post some photos. Were happy with how its looking so far it just needs a few final touches! Until then…

Hi Tiffany!

I love these pictures! I’ve been looking for someone who does underwater maternity photography in the Boston Metro area and was wondering if Erica (the East Coast photographer on this blog) does them? Or if you can recommend someone on the East Coast who does? I’m due mid-Oct, although I imagine we’d want to do the sessions before it got too cold.

Thanks!

Ruthie

Those underwater maternity shots are amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s quite beautiful. All the best on your maternity leave.

Truly the most unique maternity photos I have EVER seen! Really tasteful and elegant. I find maternity pics often look kinda awkward, but these are incredible.
