Ice cream, parking garages and yummy light. I have to say it was a good day! Thanks Dan and Sara for bearing through the cold for me.

I love that moment right before a kiss…

This might have been the FASTEST engagement session on record thanks to mother nature! I was set to meet Olivia and Jeff in St Helena for their engagement session. As I drove north on 29 the clouds were pitch black and and I could tell it was raining up there. I quickly called them to see if they left their hotel in Yountville yet. Plans quickly changed and I met them in Yountville instead to try to salvage their engagement session. All of these photos were taken between 9:03 – 9:27. By 9:20 it was pouring so we took cover at the French Laundry for a few more photos. I think they rocked it out despite the cold, wind and rain. THANK YOU both for bearing the elements with me!
Check back soon for their wedding photos.

Ah baseball. Whenever I ask a couple what they like to do for fun there seems to be a common theme: baseball games, eating out and wine. You know what Marci and Nick said? Giants baseball and Costco. You have to love that ! Who doesnt love Costco, its like Target!
Marci and Nick… thanks for hanging in there. I know the traffic was horrible that day but I think these were absolutely worth it! (we had our session the week the bay bridge was closed. took us 2 + hours to get into the city! yikes!)

Love the bats at the Giants park in SF:

It was one of those rare BEAUTIFUL days in San Francisco. Perfect temperature out and just a few clouds in the sky. We hung out in Josh and Jessica’s neighborhood for a bit and then decided to take a chance on Chrissy Field. We lucked out…no fog there either! Check back next June for their wedding at The Carneros Inn.

Wait til you see her wedding shoes. TO DIE FOR!!!!

Jess… you’re so darn cute!

Miriam and Peter have been together for years…. I think it really shows with the love that comes through in their engagement photos….

You guys are just too cute. Thank you for hanging out and powering through the session with 3 hours of sleep and an overdose of bad Peet’s Coffee! See you at Auberge in October!

On their first date they went hiking. Subadra having just moved from NYC thought this hike was like a stroll through central park. Karl had another kind of hike in mind, but Subardra still didnt change out of her heels. I LOVE YOU FOR THIS! lol~

Lets talk about how cool it is that Amy’s full first name is Amy-Socorro!! And Amy and JP’s first born girl will have the same name. (not for a few years though ; ) It reminds me of how Adeline & Grace was named after our grandmothers. We met up last week in San Francisco… bearing the freezing winds, tourists and fishermen of Chrissy Field. The thing I love most about shooting in San Francisco is the ever changing backgrounds. We started out at Chrissy Field and then headed towards the Painted Ladies. For the East coasters out there this is the row of houses on the old TV show Full House. We walked two blocks around the park and found so many great nooks and crannies to shoot in (see below) We ended the night at the Broadway Pier.
Check back next year for their wedding at the Bentley Reserve!

I think we’ve had one nice day in New England in months, and this was it. The sun was out, it was warm but not too hot. Perfect day for a shoot. There was a lot of action in the Boston commons, prom pictures, another engagement session and lots of people enjoying the weather. My favorite part, was these crazy flowers in the park. I also loved hitting the streets and walking around Newbury street with Jason and Juliana. Everyone, you are going to have to wait a whole year for Jason and Juliana’s wedding! They are getting married at Castle Hill Inn in Newport. Stay posted everyone, Jason and Juliana enjoy your pictures!

Last Sunday night I had the pleasure of hanging out with Rob and Colleen at whats now a very special place to them both: Fort Mason. It was here that Rob proposed to Colleen…. and had his friends staked out in the bushes with cameras taking pictures! LOVE IT!
Thank you Colleen and Rob for daring to go out in tornado winds… especially in a dress girl… you are a trooper!

Now that is what I call God light!
Rob proposed to Colleen just around this area in Fort Mason. He designed the ring himself. Lucky girl ~ that is a ring I would love to have!
love the contrast in this image…
