I had such a great time with Leah & James in San Francisco last week…We met at the beach near The Cliff House Restaurant, which is where James proposed two years ago! Christina and Derek are one daring couple! With a 50% chance of rain the day before they decided to go for it and it was perfect out! Lucky ducks! Check back in October to sneak a peek of their wedding at the Carneros Inn.

If ever there was a groom that knows just what to do to put his bride at ease, John takes the cake. He had Jennifer in stitches during their engagement session at V Marketplace in Yountville and my face hurt at the end from laughing so much! After we spent some time V Marketplace we headed over to Regusci where we were followed by several rotund winery dogs, I think John wanted to take the dogs home with him! Check back in October for their wedding at Solage….

Kylie & Randy came out to Napa from South Carolina for a whirlwind trip of tasting amazing food at Auberge du Soleil, several tasty cakes, and narrowing down the beautiful flowers for their October wedding. They loved it so much they wished their flight would get cancelled so they could stay a little bit longer and they got their wish! They were able to stay an extra day in Napa and take advantage of the stunning spring weather.

Melissa and Sam have one of the cutest proposal stories. They came back from a baseball game and Sam snuck upstairs and insisted that Melissa come up too. Once she reached the top of the stairs, she was greeted with 50 dozen roses, in various colors! Can you say romantic??? These East Coasters are planning a poolside destination wedding at the beautiful Calistoga Ranch this summer, I can’t wait to see what they come up with!

An Oakland Engagement Session | Claire & Marcus!

How Marcus proposed to Claire blows every proposal story out of the water: He compiled all the videos they had created together and RENTED A MOVIE THEATER to watch the movie in. At the end of the movie he popped the question. It doesn’t end there! They shared their excitement with their friends and family via skype afterwards! Love love love! After being that creative I can’t wait to see what he comes up with for the wedding.

Davis Engagement Session :|: Allie & Scott at the Davis Arboretum

As soon as I pulled up to do Allie and Scott’s engagement session, it started to rain! We had to hide out at a bus shelter for awhile but that just made us get to know one another better. As soon as we made a game plan for shooting in the rain, however, the rain magically stopped. Score! We were able to explore all the cool nooks that the Arboretum has to offer. Check back next year for their wedding at Silverado Resort. They will be getting married under massive oak trees and I’m sure it will be absolutely beautiful!
