I met Debra and Reza back in October at Lydia and Rays wedding in Napa Valley. Debra and Reza just had little Luke last week, and I was lucky enough to take the first photos of him.

This was a day of exploring. We were hoping for beautiful warm spring weather but this day it was cool a bit muddy. That did not stop Evan and Lela from exploring this entire field had to offer. It made crossing the little river even more fun. Evan was so curious to see what was behind every bend in the trail and Lela just went along with whatever Evan was doing. After a game of peek-a-boo and jump..jump..fall (not really a game) the two took a break. For a moment they sat together and Evan gave his little sister a big hug. Which was one of the cutest things ever. It was one of those awwwwe moments. Lela was a little unsure of the whole picture-taking thing but with the guidance of her big brother she ended up having a blast!

On Thursday I had the pleasure of photographing Ashey’s pregnant belly. I’ll be completely honest: it is so WEIRD to see your best friend of 13 years preggos! Especially since Ash is so small to begin with! She’s due in a month and I’m pretty sure her and Matt can’t wait any longer for Alyssa to get here! Afterwards we had a debate on the name. I threw another idea in the mix for them, saying I thought it would be cool if Alyssa had her moms middle name (and aunties) of Lynn.
What do you guys think: Alyssa Taylor Aldredge or Alyssa Lynn Aldredge?

Yesterday I had the honor to photograph a friend and fellow wedding vendors newest addition: little AJ! He just turned a month old and is already so animated and full of life! And boy does he have a head of hair already!
I will always have a special place in my heart for Brandy of Bliss Event Productions. I truly attribute the success of our business to her. She gave us a chance when we were the “new photographers in town” as we all know there are so many of us! From there her good word spread like wildfire and folks in the industry started to take notice.
Brandy, thank you so much for having faith and entrusting me with the your clients, and even more, the first documentation of your family. I hope you, Angelo and AJ will cherish these pictures forever.

Really now! Isnt she adorable? Vanessa is the daughter of my personal trainer at the gym. We headed down to Andrews Park in Vacaville yesterday to take some family photos. While we were there we witnessed a fire in the creek! But we finished and Im so very happy with the results:
Today I had the chance to photograph an incredibly cute little boy named Riley. Last years photos had the challenge of keeping him sitting up. This year we were trying to get him to slow down!!
Erica and I had a few free hours today, so we took her little girl Ella to a park near her house. Isn’t she the cutest thing EVER! Click here to watch the slide show.
