Growing in popularity, especially over the last five years, inspiration boards are easily becoming a bride’s best friend. They are the road map to the details that will comprise your wedding motif. An inspiration board showcases color palettes, theme ideas, dresses, venues, anything wedding related. It’s your collecting of inspirational wedding images.

The winner of our Inspire Me Bride contest giveaway will also have their ideas turned into a photo shoot sponsored by A Monique Affair and Adeline & Grace Photography, which will then be featured in a very special blog post dedicated to our winner! How cool is that!?!

The contest will run until noon on February 23, 2012, and the winner will be announced on February 25, 2012 after verifying all the data.

Contest Rules

There are a few requirements (explained below) that must be met in order to be entered into the contest. All participants will need to submit an email to amoniqueaffair@gmail.com with the participants full name, wedding date and must write “Inspire Me Bride Contest Giveaway” in the subject line.

All submissions and votes must be received and lodged by 12:00pm (Pacific Standard Time) on February 23, 2012. Our team will then go over all submissions and votes, verifying that all requirements were met before the winner is announced.

Yep, its that time again folks! Time to start thinking about holiday cards. And with holiday cards you need new updated photos of the family right? The location of choice this year is outdoors at Mare Island, an old Naval Shipyard in the town of Vallejo CA. If you like old stuff, this is the location for you. Mini sessions are a great, quick way to get photos of your family at a reduced rate. Full sessions usually start out at $600. And mini sessions are not limited to just holiday photos, these sessions are also great for maternity, seniors, couples and just baby photos.

-45 minute mini session with up to 5 people in your family. Extra subjects are $25 each after 5 people.
-All images are edited, color corrected and retouched. Sessions usually result in 20-40 images.

Extra cards are available in 25 card increments. 25, 50, 75, 100 etc. So if you need 60 you need to order 75 total. You can mix and match flat cards with ornament cards and be selective about who gets the special holiday ornaments this year. They have to be from the same template, no exceptions.

-Flat 5×5 or 5×7 cards are $2 per card. These are printed on pearl metallic paper, not thin photo paper. These cards are beautiful!

Last year I was inspired by Anna Kuperberg, a local bay area photographer who donated her November print sales to charity. So for the month of November 2009 70% of print and canvas sales for Adeline & Grace West will go to two charities. The two charities I selected are close to my heart:

One of my sweetest clients this year, Michael Irvine, volunteers at Childrens Cancer Community of Sonoma. He does a fundraiser, walk, charity event, auction, etc nearly every weekend and his tireless efforts help children and their families living with cancer.  This local charity helps make kids lives better one step at a time with no charge to the families in need. 50% of my print sales will go to this local charity. As some of you may know one of my best friends passed away this past September from a brain aneurysm. The remaining 20% of my print sales will be donated to The Brain Aneurysm Foundation. Album revisions are completed in the order received, so even if you have only a few small changes it might take me two weeks to return them given my current workload at the time.
