Gosh I love shooting here! Shari and Mike chose the perfect location for their wedding. It suited their style perfectly; a touch of modern, classic and rustic. The venue is elegant and chic but with an intimate, laid back feel. Perfect for a wedding. The Vineyard was the backdrop for the ceremony, which was held just before sunset.

My favorite part about the ceremony…and I have to say this has never happened before…was as Shari was walking down the aisle she was a big ball of emotions, which is totally normal…but to break the mood and to make everyone laugh, Mike said (with her eyes on him) as she walked toward him, “Come on, it’s not that bad.” The entire crowd broke out in laughter. It was the perfect thing to say at that price moment.

Of course all the little details were taken care of. Ann and Margaret of Fancy Pants did a fantastic job of making all of Shari’s thoughts and wishes for her wedding and then some come true!

The candy bar was a big hit! I know some of you are thinking everyone does a candy bar nowadays. Well, there is a reason: EVERYONE loves a candy bar! But there are so-so candy bars and then there are exceptional candy bars like this one. Ann and Margaret were not even done setting up when guests started coming over for cookies and candies.

The couple had a very energetic evening of dancing and finished the night with a quiet moment outside beneath the stars and lights.

I thought Lenore was going to blow away during this picture. She was determined to brave the cold to get this shot. That veil stayed in and didn’t blow away, thank goodness!

I think the color pallet was perfect. The red and purple go so well with each other.

Ormonde Prodcutions never disappoints. This lighting is amazing. It really help to create the mood. Lighting is so important.

Most Memorable Moments: The tour bus rounding the corner to pick up the bride.

Well…. this crowed were a bunch of dancing machines. I new this was going to be party when I saw the tour bus coming to pick up the bride and her entourage. Yes a tour bus. I felt like a rock star!

After a beautiful ceremony in Providence we headed off to take pictures in and around town. I love when the couple just lets go and has fun with the camera. Thank you to the bridesmaid who put her fear of heights aside to take that one picture!

After our Providence shoot we all headed off to the reception location at Lakeview Pavilion. By the time we arrived the light was perfect! As the guests had their portraits taken out front for their favors we just kept taking as many pictures as we could until the couple was announced.

That’s when the party started!

The “tarantella” was the first song to really get things in high gear. I am surprised I didn’t get kicked or run over that’s how crazy it was.

After dinner and some toasts desert was presented. Tiffany, myself, and the guests, could not believe how amazing the desert presentation was. Anything you could imagine was out on multiple tables. It was enormous. It was also nearly gone by the end of the night. Which means it was delicious. It is by far one of the best deserts displays we had ever seen or tasted.

We had a great time and want to thank everybody for including us.  It was a wedding to remember.
