In June we went to Portland to take underwater maternity portraits! I had been wanting to do these since I saw some photos Erica had taken of Ella back in February. They were insanely cool to say the least and I knew thats exactly what I wanted to do for my maternity session. Who else to take them then Elizabeth Baumgartner of Sunfish Studios? Here I am at my last wedding pre baby on August 15th, 36 weeks. Thanks to Brooke at The Carneros Inn for taking this for me. I look a little balloon like huh? And if we finish up the nursery before lil man arrives I’ll make sure to post some photos. Were happy with how its looking so far it just needs a few final touches! Until then…

Best wedding entertainment EVER!

I arrived to the hustle and bustle that always exists during those getting ready moments. Meredith was excited and ready to get into her dress. Her bridesmaids couldn’t wait to see her in it.
I was excited to see how Jenna made out with the guys. I dropped her off slightly earlier at the Omni. They were headed out and around the city for some fun shots. Isn’t that they way it is. It takes the guys about a second to get ready.
We all met up at the Church. One little fun fact is that this was the church that Meredith’s Grandmother was married at. So we did the same shot her grandparents had those many years ago with both Meredith and Andras.

After the church it was photo time. We took a brief stroll around the church. The light was perfect and the scenery offered both a lush green look as well as providing us with some fantastic architecture.

Our next trip was to Yale. Everyone kept talking about these fantastic gates but when we got there I was more interested in the gates across the quad and the quad itself.

We arrived at the lawn club and took a sneak peak at the room. I loved the chandeliers, they were so retro. The weather was perfect and the two danced and laugh for the entire evening.
I enjoyed being apart of and being able to capture their special day.

Samantha and Artur really thought about capturing themselves “pre wedding”. The two met at Boston University. Boston University and everything that surrounds the campus was the backdrop for their romance for this shoot.
We did a few shots on Artur’s stoop and then found a great little nook in a small ally right next to his old steps.  After that brief stop we headed down to a classroom they both shared together. How fantastic to freeze this in time. Most important stop on our walk and little drive was the spot where Artur popped the question. We were off to the public library for our next few stops. What great architecture, and we can’t forget the T stops. If you have gone to college or lived in Boston the T stops hold a ton of memories for all those who have used them. It was great to get to know them in this small time frame and to see and hear about how and where they met. I cannot wait to see this wedding. Sarah True is their planner and I am sure with both their creativity along with Sarah’s special flare this wedding will be off the hook!

I have never seen a bride SO excited to get ready to meet her future husband. Sara was glowing!
