Back in September at Sarah and Alex’s wedding, Marita and I got the chance to work with Day Dreamer Cinema. Their team was awesome to work with which is key when you have 2 photographers and three cinematographers in a small space.
We just got to see their video. YAY!
Listen up brides to be, because we are about to release the details to the ultimate giveaway of the season. A Monique Affair is teaming up with Adeline & Grace Photography to give you a chance to share your wedding vision, show off your creativity, and win a little spending cash all at the same time. Our Inspire Me Bride contest giveaway focuses on creating and submitting your very own wedding inspiration board.
Growing in popularity, especially over the last five years, inspiration boards are easily becoming a bride’s best friend. They are the road map to the details that will comprise your wedding motif. An inspiration board showcases color palettes, theme ideas, dresses, venues, anything wedding related. It’s your collecting of inspirational wedding images.
Consider this the contest kick off! If you win, you will get a $100 gift card to use however you need in the planning of your wedding. Think about what you can get, use it toward your flower arrangements and spring for the exotics, use it to splurge on those pretty invitations, or save it until all the commotion is over and spend it while unwinding with your wife or hubby on the honeymoon…but THERE’S MORE!
The winner of our Inspire Me Bride contest giveaway will also have their ideas turned into a photo shoot sponsored by A Monique Affair and Adeline & Grace Photography, which will then be featured in a very special blog post dedicated to our winner! How cool is that!?!
The contest will run until noon on February 23, 2012, and the winner will be announced on February 25, 2012 after verifying all the data.

A few weeks back I received a sweet email from a client:
“I wanted to send you an email because my brother got married last week and it was so much fun! I thought of you though because the photographer they used really made us appreciate your work. He was very nice and took great pictures (and he actually did a little dancing to “Baby Got Back” at one point)
but he was not nearly as organized as you were. We really appreciate how committed you were to make sure that all of the moments at our wedding were captured and every time I look at any of our pictures, I can’t help but smile!!! You were absolutely wonderful to work with and we can’t wait to have another reason to have you photograph us again! Happy New Year and all the best to you and your family!”
I always try to go above and beyond for my clients and emails like this make me smile. With that being said I’m happy to announce we’ve won the bride’s choice award again!

Benefit Street in downtown Providence is one of my favorite places to shoot. Because of this warm weather we are having I was able to do a few shoots here this late in the season. Here is one of them.
