An hour before our session Jessica and Matt tied the knot! I kid I kid… but they did stop by San Francisco’s City Hall to pick it up since they are from Connecticut. They wanted a little bit of the nitty grittiness of NYC but in SF. I think we accomplished that. Check back next month to see a sneak peek from their wedding at Cline Cellars in Sonoma.

I think this Engagement Session takes the award for most times it needed to be rescheduled due to rainy weather!! I’m glad that we finally hit on a good one though, what a beautiful afternoon we ended up with. I’m sure we’ll end up with a day equally as beautiful this August for Prairie and Jeff’s wedding at Murieta’s Well.

Bay Area Engagement Session :|: Lara and Preston

I love it when a couple chooses a location thats special to them. For Lara and Preston it was Rodeo Beach in the Marin Headlands where Preston proposed to her. He wanted to completely surprise her… and that he did! Check back in a few months for their wedding at the Carneros Inn.

Jessica & Scott wanted NYC in SF. So I thought the back alleys and streets of downtown SF would work perfect for them. I hope this fits the bill. Check back in August to see their wedding at the Culinary Institute. Yum!

I finally got to meet up with Dave and Florence after being rained out in December. Luckily for us being rained out meant that the Palace of Fine Arts was finally open to shoot in again!

Mother nature kept us from Tammy and Simon’s e session taking place… several times. But if it was going to happen, it was going to happen! And it did, just a few days before the wedding! I’m so happy it did, it gave me a sneak peek into how in love these two are. But they were over the top cute at their wedding at Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma. These two are so much in love… makes me happy. We hung out at UC Berkeley where Adrienne and Charles met. It was cute seeing them point out spots where certain moments took place that had special meaning to them. Check back in June to see more of their wedding photos at Auberge du Soleil!

On a whole other note… Adrienne’s makeup was done by the wonderful Sherrie Long. Because of our schedules Sherrie did her her and makeup at 7 am. And our session took place at 5pm!!! I was FLOORED at how perfect her hair and makeup still looked after 10 hours. Adrienne even confessed she took a nap that afternoon too. Ok, if that isnt someone good at their job I dont know who is!
