Elegant Wedding at Carneros Inn :|: Serdar and Jessica!

What a wedding! Beautiful bride, giddy groom and crazy hurricane force winds. A dance party that wasn’t on the dance floor and the end of the night a little bit of belly dancing thrown in for good measure. Serdar and Jessica: I think it goes without saying… you know how to paaaarrtay!

Their wedding took place at the Carneros Inn in Napa. I love this place. I would move in if I could. Check out the Barbie doll made by Jessica’s co-workers:

Recently, someone asked me what my favorite part of the wedding day is to photograph. I have a few: the time the bride gets into her dress, when the groom sees her for the first time (especially at the first sight) and during toasts… I get to learn a bit more about my couples through the eyes of their friends. And i get some pretty funny expressions too!

Heather and Sean are a low key couple that really know how to have fun! I’ve never seen a bride so ecstatic to be married, she glowed the entire day! The weather was crystal clear and beautiful and they truly seemed to have a great time partying with their friends and family. Thanks you two for inviting me to be a part of your special day…..

To say that we were obsessed with Susan’s veil would be an understatement! Well… we weren’t the only ones: Susan’s mom already reserved it for her sisters wedding. You guys are rock stars. Thanks for being so fun to shoot!

I had such a wonderful time photographing Emily & Sergey’s intimate wedding at Auberge du Soleil last Friday. The guest list was small but included their closest friends and family members who flew in from all over the world. The day couldn’t have been more beautiful and it was the perfect setting for everyone to relax and really enjoy themselves. The bride and groom had a fun-filled wedding weekend planned for their guests that included a spa day, wine tasting and a farewell brunch….they really know how to celebrate!
